Rocky Patel Cigar Smoking World Championship

BURN by Rocky Patel Naples is hosting one of the first U.S. preliminaries for the 2021 Cigar Smoking World Championship, starting and ending the competition at its Naples, Florida location. Entry fee is $125 and takes place August 17 at 6 p.m.

The Cigar Smoking World Championship is an international competition in the “slow smoking” of cigars. Contestants go head to head in how slow they can smoke their cigar with time penalties given for breaking any of the rules listed below. The smoker who takes the longest to finish their cigar is the winner.

First place gets a package that includes a choice of a travel humidor, a luxury writing instrument with travel humidor and leather cigar case or an event-branded limited edition watch with desktop humidor.

All participants receive the same Rocky Patel cigar that they choose from the box and are given a cutter and box with two matches. They will get a minute to light their cigar, which will be smoked until it goes out or is burned to the competition ring. The winner is the person who smokes the cigar for the longest time without the fire going out.

Admission includes a 10-count box of Rocky Patel Cigar Smoking World Championship Marevas and an official “CSWC Rocky Patel Cigar” for the competition.
