Edgar Julián Sued, owner of Julián Sued & Compañía and tobacco veteran Claudio Sgroi, owner of CST Consulting, have collaborated on a series of cigars with the first, the Cinque Terre, to be released this month.
The series debut is a 5 x 54 Gran Robusto, which features an Ecuadorian wrapper, USA binder and filler from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and Haiti. The smokes come in 10-count boxes at $14.95 per stick. The cigars will be available in the US and select international markets and production is limited to 1,000 boxes. .
Sgroi is a veteran master blender who worked with Mombacho Cigars for 10 years and is past president of the Nicaraguan Tobacco Chamber. Sued last year opened his Julián Sued & Compañía in Tamboril, Dominican Republic.
