Punch is releasing the Aniversario to mark its 180th anniversary, a 7.25 x 54 double corona ($14.99) produced at the HATSA factory in Danli, Honduras. It has Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper and binder and filler from the Dominican Republic, Honduras and Nicaragaua.
It will be released to select brick and mortar outlets in early September, with a production run of 3,400 boxes.
“We celebrate Punch as the first name in Honduran-crafted cigars with this special release,” Ed Lahmann, senior brand manager of Punch, said in a press release. “We look forward to upholding the brand’s legacy for today’s Punch loyalists and the next generation of Punch enthusiasts.”
