As its 50th anniversary celebration continues, JR Cigar has teamed up with Alec and Bradley Rubin, the namesakes of Alec Bradley Cigars, for the Alec & Bradley Wagyu A5, a cigar blended and created by the Rubin brothers.
Taking its name from famously marbled Japanese beef, the 6 x 52 Toro comes in a 10-count box, $12 per and $109.95 a box and is available exclusively at www.JRCigars.com.
The Wagyu A5 was produced in Honduras at the Raices Cubanas factory and uses aged long filler from Nicaragua, Colombia and Honduras, Honduran Habano binder and a Mexican San Andrés wrapper.
The outside of the boxes feature a Japanese steak knife, or guyuto, and the inside lid has artwork of a steer showing various cuts of beef.
“We wanted to create a cigar that evoked the characteristics of Wagyu beef: luxury, flavor and rarity and that’s exactly what you get,” Bradley Rubin said in a press release.
