Cigars International is marking the opening of its latest superstores, in Tampa and Lutz, Florida, with the Buffalo Trace, a cigar created in collaboration with the Frankfort, Kentucky-based distillery.
Buffalo Trace features an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, a Brazilian Arapiraca binder and Dominican, and Nicaraguan filler. The line includes a 5 x 49 Robusto, a 6 x 52 Toro and a 7 x 49 Churchill, priced at $7.50, $8.00 and $8.50, respectively. Boxes of 20 go for $150 – $170.Â
The Buffalo Trace is produced at General Cigar Dominicana in Santiago, Dominican Republic.
The Florida stores are the company’s first in the state and its sixth and seventh retail locations in the U.S.
