JR Cigar is releasing a new vitola of the Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua to its 50th Anniversary lineup. The Nicaragua was previously only available in a box-pressed format .The JR 50th Anniversary edition is a custom-made Parejo, torpedo version.
It uses Nicaraguan filler and binder with a Nicaraguan Sumatra wrapper. It was blended by Rafael Nodal and AJ Fernandez, using tobaccos grown on AJ’s farms.
Offered in a 10-count box, the Quattro Nicaragua JR 50th is available in a 6 x 52 rounded Torpedo priced at $10.50 a stick, or $105 a box. This vitola is a limited edition, with less than 1,000 boxes produced. The cigar will be available June 8, exclusively at www.JRCigars.com.Â
“The Quattro line has always been box-pressed, but I asked AJ to make a small number of round cigars that I could enjoy and share with close friends,” Nodal said in a statement. “The resulting cigar turned out to provide an exceptional new experience for an already exceptional blend.”
