Drew Estate is commemorating ten years of the Undercrown with the Undercrown 10, a new addition to Undercrown’s current premium lineup of Maduro, Shade and Sun Grown expressions.
To celebrate the brand’s anniversary, Drew Estate is using the tagline “All Dekked Out,” which denotes Undercrown 10’s packaging. The Undercrown 10 features a Mexican San Andres dark wrapper, broadleaf binder from the Connecticut River Valley, and a tripa blend of Nicaraguan tobaccos.
Undercrown 10 will debut with four core vitolas: the 6 x 52 Toro, a 5 x 50 Robusto, a 5 x 43 Corona and a 7 x 50 Corona Doble, each available in 20-count boxes. A limited-edition 6 x 46 Lonsdale Undercrown 10 “Factory Floor Edition” will debut in July. The Undercrown 10 Factory Floor Edition is packaged in commemorative 20-count boxes, and includes a “tobacco leaf library,” offering each lucky purchaser the opportunity to see, smell and touch the very leaves that Drew Estate’s torcedores painstakingly chose for Undercrown 10’s new powerhouse blend. Finally, the Undercrown 10 Tuani 6 x 52 Belicoso will be exclusively available in a two-count presentation coffin/box at Undercrown 10 events hosted by Gomez.
Undercrown 10’s core vitolas will ship to retailers beginning in May. Starting retails for the will be: Robusto $235/box or $11.75/cigar; Toro $240/box or $12/cigar; Corona Doble $270/box or $13.50/cigar; and Corona Viva $210/box or $10.50/cigar. The Undercrown 10 Factory Floor Edition will have an MSRP of $272/box or $13.60/cigar.
