Altadis U.S.A. announces the April release of the Montecristo Epic Vintage 12, which joins the Montecristo Epic line in a 6 x 52 Blue Toro ($17.75) and the 6 x 50 Blue No. 2 torpedo ($18.50). The cigars are rolled at the Tabacalera de Garcia factory in La Romana, Dominican Republic and come in a 10-count box.
The Montecristo Epic Vintage 12 has an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper with Dominican binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.
The Montecristo Epic line was created in 2012 and includes the Montecristo Epic Special Seleccion ’07.
“To create our Epic line, we select only the very best seeds and let them grow in our most exclusive soils until we have a crop worthy of the Epic name,” Pedro Ventura, Tabacalera de Garcia product development manager, said in a statement.
