JR Cigar marks its 50 year anniversary with the Romeo y Julieta Edicion Limitada JR 50th, teaming up with Altadis U.S.A. to create a special edition of the legendary Romeo y Julieta brand.
The JR 50th is a 5 x 54 Rothchilde and comes from Tabacalera de Garcia, rolled with aged tobaccos from four countries. The filler is a blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos, the binder is a Connecticut Broadleaf with a Criollo Mexicano wrapper.
Each cigar comes in a red tube and is packaged in a red and gold, 12-count box sold at $15 a smoke and $180 a box. There will be a limited run of 500 boxes available.
The JR 50th will be available starting February 22, exclusively at www.JRcigars.com.

JR Cigar announced last month that it would mark its five decades with a series of special editions and other exclusives through the year.
