Protocol Cigars announces its next in the line of Pool Party cigars, the Protocol Pool Party 2. But to get it, you’ll have to be ready to jump in; The limited edition cigars will be given to the first 250 attendees to the Protocol Pool Party on July 17th at the Chelsea Sun Inn in Mt Bethel, Pennsylvania.
The outdoor event will feature a DJ and live music.
The PPPY2 is a 6 x 52 round barber pole with a rabito cap. The intertwined wrappers will be a Mexican San Andreas Maduro leaf and a Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade leaf. They are presented in a 10-count paper bundle, with 250 bundles produced at Erik Espinosa’s La Zona Factory in Esteli, Nicaragua.
“We were always curious about doing a barber pole but didn’t want to do anything too gimmicky when it came to the actual cigar,” Juan Cancel, owner and founder of Protocol said in a statement. “However for a cigar that will be given to those attending our Year 2 pool party, a barber pole cigar seems perfect.”
Admission to the pool party is $200, and that includes the bundle of PPPY2, Pool Party swag, Protocol gators, with all you can eat food, and an open bar with top shelf selections.Early birds, though, can score admission for $150 as long as you commit before March 31.
