Celebrating its 145 years of passion for cigars, Romeo y Julieta is this month releasing Romeo y Julieta Eternal in a limited-edition production.
The Eternal blend is made by the Plasencia family in collaboration with Rafael Nodal, head of product development at Tabacalera USA. The Nicaraguan puro will come in a 6 x 54 toro and cost $15 a stick.
Altadis U.S.A. is packaging Romeo y Julieta Eternal in 11-count boxes, with one of the 11 featuring a golden ring to symbolize the bond between cigar smokers and the brand.
“Romeo y Julieta Eternal is hand-crafted with luxurious tobaccos from the Plasencia’s private reserve in Nicaragua,” Nodal said in a press release. The wrapper, he added, has been double fermented and aged for 26 months.
