German Engineered Cigars has announced its news blend, the NN, conceived in line with the company’s minimalist approach to cigar making.
The NN01 comes in 7 x 48 Churchill and is hand-rolled at Tabacalera William Ventura in the Dominican Republic. The brand is not disclosing the blend, but says in a press release that the cigar is “a medium-bodied smoke.”
NN is short for the Latin term “non nominandum“ or “not named“.
The NN01 will be limited to production of 5,000 cigars, sold in 25-count boxes at a price of $8.90 a stick.
In a press release, the company said, “As German Engineers, two things are essential for us in a cigar: manufacturing quality and sensory experience. Everything else can be distracting or even bias the moment. Our new, reduced cigar concept is made for the pure aficionado. No fancy pictures, no artsy boxes, no distracting story, not even a name.”
