Alec Bradley Cigar Co. is now shipping the Black Market Estelí Diamond after a three-month delay due to import issues connected to the Covid-19 virus. Alec Bradley pre-sold the entire production of 1,500 16-count, diamond shaped boxes in March, originally scheduled to ship in June.
The medium to full bodied Diamond features a dark natural wrapper from Nicaragua, a double binder combination of Honduran and Nicaraguan leaves and fillers from Nicaragua. It also includes an extra ligero leaf to give the cigar a stronger taste than the other Black Market Estelís. The cigar, which comes as a 6.25 x 54, retails for $9.85.
The Black Market EstelÍ Diamond is the follow-up to the Nica Puro Diamond Rough-Cut which was introduced in 2014. The Black Market EstelÍ Diamond replaces the Nica Puro Diamond Rough-Cut. Both are well-regarded and unique for their diamond shape, which is a tribute to Trilogy, a triangular shaped cigar created by Alec Bradley’s founder, Alan Rubin.
