Danny Moya and Nelson Ruiz, owners of MoyaRuiz Cigars, have moved their operation from New Jersey to Florida, brought out a new logo and are broadening its La Jugada Habano line to a 6 x 52 semi-pressed Toro.
The boutique brand in 2013 introduced the Habano, and the blend features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper with binders and fillers from Nicaragua, aged at the La Zona factory in Esteli.
The new Toro has been aged a little longer than the normal six months due to the COVID-19 virus, which extended the process to a year. The cigar ships this week.
MoyaRuiz is also reissuing 2015’s Chinese Finger Trap in limited edition boxes sold exclusively through Caravan Cigar Company in Bath, Pa.
Expect availability in December.
