Two Guys Smoke Shop 35th Anniversary Party Postponed

Two Guys Smoke Shop has cancelled its scheduled September anniversary party due to government directives in Massachusetts related to Covid-19.

The New Hampshire-based Two Guys has held the annual event since 1993, with crowds of up to 500 people. Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker has ordered indoor gatherings be limited to 25 people, making the event unfeasible. .

“I am heartbroken” David Garofalo, owner, and founder of Two Guys Smoke Shop, said in a statement. “We always look forward to celebrating with our customers and having a spectacular night, and what a night we had planned.  Lots of surprises and of course cigars.”

Two Guys had lowered admittance this year to 400, to give patrons more space.  But dwindling that to 25 was impossible to do.  This year’s event, celebrating Two Guys’ 35th anniversary, included a $35,000 grand prize giveaway, as well as 17 cigars per person and a five course dinner.  Tickets were sold out, manufacturers were ready to attend. But the governor’s edict quashed everything.

Two Guys Smoke Shop is offering three options to ticket holders.

Option #1 is a full refund of the $225 ticket price

Option #2 is to keep your ticket for next year’s “do over” event, same date (September 16), same time, but in 2021.  Tickets for that event will go on sale May 2, 2021 but you can already have your ticket by keeping it and securing your seat.

Option #3 is to turn your ticket in for $300 off  any purchase of $300 or more in cigars at Two Guys Smoke Shop.  This one-time purchase must be made by September 30, 2020.

Those holding tickets are asked to go to the point of purchase to exercise their option.
