Villiger Cigars has announced that it will launch their new “Villiger do Brasil” brand at the upcoming TPE. Featuring two blends, one claro and the other maduro, this Brazilian puro was made to celebrate Villiger’s long history with Brazilian tobacco. Opened in 2018, Villiger’s new factory located in Bahia, Brazil is also named “Villiger do Brasil”, which translates into “Villiger of Brazil”. Both claro and maduro cigars will come in 5 count boxes in robusto (5×50) and toro (6×50) vitolas.
Villiger Chairman of the Board, Heinrich Villiger said: “My family saw the value in Brazilian tobacco when they began Villiger Cigars as a very small operation in 1888. Brazilian tobacco is unique, as its structure is very robust, which leads to strong aromas and flavours. Its distinct qualities can only be created in Bahia, Brazil. We look forward to sharing the Villiger do Brasil brand with the United States marketplace.”
