Punch Rare Corojo returns

General Cigar issued a press release announcing that “Punch Rare Corojo has begun making its annual return to retail. The seasonal collection welcomes a new, limited edition frontmark, while one of its original sizes will be retired this year.”

The Double Corona (6 ¾ x 48) will be retired this year; once the limited production of that size is depleted, that’ll be the end of it. Meanwhile, a 7.25” x 54 perfecto called Regalias Perfecto will be added to the Rare Corojo lineup. That size will come in a 10-count box and retail for $7.99 per cigar.

Punch Rare Corojo is made in Honduras and features an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, Connecticut Broadleaf binder, and a filler blend that includes tobaccos from Nicaragua, Honduras and the Dominican Republic.

2016’s Punch Rare Corojo offering will include a total of nine vitolas ranging in price from $4.19 to $8.29 per cigar.
