CAO announced that it will donate a portion of the proceeds generated by the small-batch CAO Honor to Amazing Surf Adventures‘ (ASA) Operation Surf, which is “a program benefitting wounded military heroes,” according to a press release issued by General Cigar Company.

Specifically, those funds will go to ASA’s 13th Operation Surf event. It’ll start today and end October 19. Twenty four wounded active-duty soldiers and veterans from various military branches in the U.S. and U.K. will take part in the weeklong surfing program led by ASA founder Van Curaza and a team of world-class surfers and instructors.

“This donation will provide the funding needed to hold more surf clinics for our active duty military and veteran heroes, thereby allowing us to continue providing a life-changing experience for them, one wave at a time,” said Curaza in General’s release.
