Long Ashes Cigar Club brought its 2nd Annual Puros with a Purpose Domino Tournament to Miami Lakes, drawing more than 300 attendees for an afternoon built around competition and charity. The event rallied 20 cigar brands, each supporting the club’s effort to fund toy purchases for needy children in Central America through the Oliva Helping Hands Foundation. Each player received a leather backpack loaded with 30+ cigars, accessories, and complimentary drink tickets.
The field of 64 teams battled through the brackets while guests enjoyed live music from Orlando Mendez, aka “The Cuban Cowboy,” and tacos from Chela’s Miami. Cigars circulated throughout the crowd as brand reps mixed with players and supporters between rounds. In the end, Long Ashes president Alex Elies presented the tournament awards, with the team representing SkyPostal taking first place.
