Smoke-Onos Cigar Festival is a well-organized, multi-day celebration of premium cigars attracting fans from all over the northeast United States. The main event starts with a 9:30 AM breakfast for Super VIPs, who then get to enter the event grounds at 11, giving them a 1-hour head start over the VIPs and 2 hours before General Admission ticket holders. All receive a combo duffel bag/backpack loaded with 30+ premium cigars, an event t-shirt, cap, and a cool beer-tap-shaped jet lighter. In the bag, there are also two different types of cigar caddies, a hip flask, bottle opener, and a massive Stanley tumbler.
Participants enjoy pours of top-shelf spirits, beer, games, and a catered lunch as they take advantage of deals from some of the biggest cigar companies including Rocky Patel, Arturo Fuente, Romeo y Julieta, Oliva, My Father, Villiger, La Aurora, AJ Fernandez, and Zino to name a few. Drew Estate hosted a large tent where DJ Eli was spinning while Jonathan Drew signed boxes and posed for pics with a snaking line of fans. Other cigar personalities like Erik Espinosa, Rafael Nodal, Rick Rodriguez, and Michael Herklots greeted consumers and signed boxes for those who purchased them.
The event, attended by over 1,000 consumers, runs from 11 AM to 6 PM, followed by an afterparty that goes till 10 PM. The venue, on the grounds of Best Cigar Prices headquarters, provides a variety of spaces and experiences—making this a one-of-a-kind event. But it’s the people who attend that truly make the festival one not to be missed.
