The dinner annually hosted by the Vandermarliere family was held at Mercure Hotel Dortmund Messe & Kongress. Attendees were treated to pre-dinner hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, and cigars prior to dinner as Fred Vandermarliere welcomed colleagues, friends, and family. Live music was provided by the house band from Café La Trova in Miami, which the host flew in for the event. Also on site was a cigar station with Oliva and J. Cortez cigars.
