The Great Smoke 2023, Mardi Gras Madness, took place at the South Florida Fairgrounds and was hosted by Abe Dababneh and Michael Herklots. The event brought the spirit of Bourbon Street to South Florida with over 1,500 people in attendance as well as an additional 600 people who joined virtually. The day was filled with a variety of activities such as a goodie bag with 32 premium cigars for attendees, exclusive swag, meetings with the cigar manufacturers, Mardi Gras music, and Mardi Gras-themed food. Those who joined virtually were able to watch the action and get cigars and swag. The day was also marked by raffles and activities. Bradley Rubin even shaved his mustache off as part of a charity fundraising promotion! FYI: The Great Smoke 2024 will be celebrating the Year of the Dragon.
