La Marielita Rum unveiled its debut 18-year Panamanian rum at a launch party at the American Museum of The Cuban Diaspora. The event featured a cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres in the historic museum setting, where patrons enjoyed a rooftop party with a cigar roller, a live band, and a full view of the Miami skyline. Attendees also enjoyed a number of cocktails made with the new rum, which is a collaboration between La Marielita CEO and founder Janet Diaz-Bonilla and world-renowned Cuban master of rum Francisco José “Don Pancho” Fernández Pérez. The bottle label was designed by Cuban-American artist Humberto Benitez.
