Casa 1910 hosted its annual cigar experience in Mexico City. Invitees to this extravagant weekend event were treated to some of Mexico’s finest gastronomy, traditional music, the full line of Casa 1910 cigars, and some of the majestic city’s best-kept secrets. The opening night was kicked off with a cocktail party at the trendy restaurant NIICH in the beautiful neighborhood of Colonia Condesa. Co-founders Jaime Baer, Serge Bollag, and Manolo Santiago (master blender) welcomed guests to an evening filled with craft drinks, food, music and a sneak peek at the new Casa 1910 cigar line which will debut at TPE 2023. Day 2 of the experience started at El Castillo De Chapultapec, one of the city’s best-preserved gems and residence to Mexican Presidents and Emperors past. After touring the beautiful grounds, the experience headed off to the weekend’s main event at the Antiguo Molino de San Jerónimo – a restored hacienda turned boutique hotel / event space in the city’s epicenter. Guests enjoyed unique tequilas, gourmet traditional Mexican cuisine, mariachi performances, and of course excellent cigars. Some of the evening’s sponsors included: Jose Cuervo Reserva De La Familia, Bushmills Irish Whiskey, Ron Matusalem, Palmar Hard Seltzer, FLOW Mexican Wine, and Zotoluca Boutique. Capping off the memorable weekend was a brunch at one of Mexico’s most historic and flavorful restaurants, Puerto Prendes.
