The fifth running of the South Florida Craft Beer Run at the Tank Brewing Co. featured local breweries, food, live music, dancing, games and, yes, running, with a stunning 16:28 first place finish. That beat last year’s top time of 20:10. Registrants received a race t-shirt, a medal, a free beer and a cigar. Live music was delivered by local country artist Ricky Valido. Over a dozen local breweries were on hand including the Tank Brewing Company, Conscious Brewing, Wynwood Brewing, Veza Sur Brewing Co and Tripping Animals Brewing Co. The event featured cigars from Plasencia and Romeo y Julieta.
