Atlanta lit up for a week in September to celebrate the fifth annual Atlanta Cigar Week, seven days of the third week of the month that since 2018 have been designated by city proclamation as the official week of cigars.
The opening Welcome to Atlanta was particularly special, as the hosts secured a three level penthouse, two smoking decks and an open bar. It was packed enough that they had to turn some late arrivals away at the door.
Events included cigar rolling classes, Miami Vice and 90s themed soirees, and an atmosphere that the week held “something for everyone.”
Spirits tastings were hosted by premier sponsors including Bacardi USA, Brown-Forman, and Diageo as 25 vendors showcased goods and services including cigars, life insurance, travel services, custom cigar accessories, and fashion.
A team of nine ambassadors oversaw the good times, while attendees came from all over to indulge in cigars and fine cocktails.
Atlanta Cigar Week began as a simple bar crawl but has blossomed into an event that attracts more patrons every year.
