South Miami Mayor Sally Phillips made this a special event, as she came out to do the ribbon cutting for this grand opening, which was also attended by cigar industry legend Benji Menendez. Local eatery Domaine Souviou Wine Bar Boutique came through with some fine food and a wine tasting.
About that name: Three friends got together and decided to open a cigar shop in a city full of them. When they told family and friends, they were advised that their idea was terrible. They ditched the advice and kept the name.
