Mombacho Cigars and Diplomatico Rum launched their collaboration at Casa de Montecristo. Guests were invited to experience the Diplomatico by Mombacho cigar along with a pour of Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva. Mombacho’s Master Blender Claudio Sgroi, the brains behind this cigar, guided attendees through the pairing explaining the flavors and even the process he went through to craft this blend. Diplomatico’s mixologist also prepared a “Rum Old Fashioned” cocktail using Diplomatico that was a huge hit. At the end of the night, guests walked away with a sampler of the new cigars and a mini bottle of Diplomatico rum.
