The Premium Cigar Association will visit Seoul Dec. 7-10 to launch The Cigar Academy in partnership with Pierre Ltd., its official launch partner in Korea. The program will include separate training and certification sessions for cigar and hospitality professionals and selected industry partners, and for Pierre’s clients, collectors and cigar enthusiasts.
Ricardo Carioni, PCA’s director of international affairs and education and co-founder of The Cigar Academy, will lead both sessions, which will include instruction, guided cigar tastings, pairings and assessments. The aficionado session will take place at Pierre Ltd.’s lounge in Seoul. Participants will receive access to the academy’s digital learning platform and certification upon successful completion of the required assessments.
