Casa Carrillo ships Pledge of Allegiance Rockets on Sept. 28 to select retailers. The release is limited to 250 individually numbered humidors, each containing 20 6 ⅜ x 58 cigars, 10 Connecticut Broadleaf-wrapped cigars, and 10 Pennsylvania Broadleaf-wrapped cigars. Each cigar has an MSRP of $50, making the humidor price $1,000.
The Connecticut Broadleaf version features a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, Pennsylvania 41 binder, and Pennsylvania and Connecticut fillers. The Pennsylvania Broadleaf version uses a Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper, Havana Connecticut binder, and Pennsylvania and Connecticut fillers.
“Pledge of Allegiance has always been about the journey to America and the opportunities that this country represents,” Ernesto Perez-Carrillo said in a press release. “For the 250th anniversary, I wanted to create something that was truly American from the tobacco to the story behind it. Using American-grown tobaccos in two very different blends allows us to celebrate that spirit in a way that is meaningful to me and to the Perez-Carrillo family.”
