J.C. Newman Cigar Co. is shipping the Diamond Crown MAXIMUS cigar.
“Diamond Crown MAXIMUS is the final cigar that my grandfather Stanford J. Newman created,” fourth-generation owner Drew Newman said in a press release. “MAXIMUS is a collaboration between the three remaining cigar families in the ‘Cigar City’ of Tampa, Florida: Arturo Fuente, J.C. Newman and John Oliva. They came together in 2002 to create MAXIMUS to celebrate J.C. Newman’s 105th anniversary.”
The Fuente, Newman and Oliva families have been friends for more than 60 years.
