Jeremy Stamkos will release Cigar Sanctuaries: The Art and Science of the Modern Indoor Cigar Lounge at PCA26, April 17-20.
The book is aimed at cigar retailers, lounge owners, hospitality operators, designers, engineers, and private collectors interested in the design and performance of indoor cigar spaces. It focuses on the technical side of lounge environments, including airflow, smoke management, humidity control, temperature stability, filtration, acoustics, and long-term operational performance.
Stamkos is the founder of Puros Environmental and has more than 30 years of experience in indoor air quality, HVAC, environmental systems, and contamination control. In Cigar Sanctuaries, he applies that background to cigar lounges, arguing that premium smoking environments should be treated as controlled indoor systems rather than simply styled spaces where smoking is allowed.
“The best lounges don’t fight smoke, and they don’t simply try to hide it; they guide it,” Stamkos said in a press release. “ When airflow is intentional, and the environment is stable, the room feels calm, clear, and effortless. That is when the cigar and the experience become the focus.”
Copies of Cigar Sanctuaries will be available for purchase at PCA26. Hard copies are available for online ordering at www.purosenviro.com/cigarsanctuaries
