The Premium Cigar Association is working with British writer Nick Hammond on a book tentatively titled Around the World in 80 Cigars – The American Dream, focused on cigar culture in the United States. Hammond previously wrote Around the World in 80 Cigars – Travels of an Epicure and There and Back Again, both centered on cigars and travel.
The project is planned as a 16‑chapter collection of narratives set in cigar regions and cigar lounges across the U.S. Each chapter will profile a PCA member—both manufacturers and retailers—and describe their role in American cigar life.
The final chapter is expected to cover the 2026 PCA Trade Show in New Orleans. The book is planned for release in print, audio, and digital formats.
