The Juan Lopez brand is returning to the U.S. market with a new cigar after an absence of over 10 years. The brand is now produced in the Dominican Republic.
“When creating a new version of a cherished heritage cigar, it is important to retain many of the elements that made it so beloved in the first place,” Nick Libretti, senior brand manager, said in a press release. “Our goal was to create something for the U.S. that a traditional Cuban cigar smoker will recognize and enjoy, while also having a blend and style that resonates with the modern consumer.”
The Juan Lopez cigar comes in a 5 ½ x 52 Campanas ($12.50), a 6 x 48 Maximos ($12.25) and a 6 ¾ x 52 Seleccion Especial ($12.75).
Each size will also have a custom-made four-pack, which will be available later this year.
It will be distributed by Santa Clara Cigars.
