Selected Tobacco will next month unveil the Collector’s Edition Humidor Blend at Industrial Cigars in Frisco, Texas. The release features 200 travel humidors, each containing ten cigars.
The humidor is finished in a piano lacquer of white sand and ocean blue tones, with hidden hinges featuring polished gold trim. It features a chambered humidifier with a fixed hygrometer .
The cigars are five 6 ⅛ x 55 Atabey Ritos and five 6 x 54 Alfonso Añejo No. 3.
The package goes for $600.
The official release is Oct. 18 at the suburban Dallas lounge and will feature Selected Tobacco’s founder, Nelson Alfonso, alongside his son, Fabio Alfonso.
“This project is important to me because it transcends the cigar business,” Dave Frakes, co-owner of Industrial Cigars, said in a press release. “It’s about our families coming together to celebrate two milestones: five years as the world’s first Atabey Private Lounge and the Alfonso family’s 175 years in tobacco. Our relationship with Nelson has always been bigger than cigars, we are family.”
