Montecristo presents Montecristo 90th Anniversary, produced by Rafael Nodal, vice president of product capability at Altadis U.S.A., in collaboration with the Plasencia family. The cigar will be available exclusively at Casa de Montecristo stores on August 30, with a nationwide release on Sept. 15.
It comes in a 5 ½ x 56 Parejo ($38.75) and a 6 ⅛ x 52 Figurado ($40). It features Nicaraguan wrapper, binders and filler.
The cigar is also part of a partnership with BRM Chronographes to release a bronze-cased skeleton dial watch, engraved with individual edition numbers, with 35 pieces available.
Each timepiece is housed in a Montecristo 90th Anniversary Watch Winder Humidor featuring space for 18 cigars, a watch winder, playing cards, dice, poker chips, and “The Last Chip” game card.
“The Montecristo 90th Anniversary is more than a cigar—it’s a statement of legacy and ambition,” Gabe Diaz, brand manager, said in a press release. “We wanted to respect our roots while delivering a modern experience that speaks to today’s luxury smoker.”
