Plasencia Cigars announces the Alma del Cielo, which it claims is the “first-ever high-elevation cigar,” as it uses tobacco grown at Finca San Julian in Condega, situated at greater than 3,500 feet above sea level.ย
It comes in a 4 โ x 52 Robusto ($25), a 6 โ x 54 Toro ($27.50) and a 6 x 60 Hexรกgono ($29.50).
The tobacco grown at the higher level benefits from higher sunlight exposure and cooler climates, Plasencia says.
โThis cigar is more than a product,โ Don Nestor Plasencia’s son, Nestor Andres, said in a press release. โIt is a living memory, a symbol of our family, a reflection of our sustainable farming practices, and of nature at its most generous.โ
