Macanudo Inspirado employs the time-honored tradition of tercio aging in its limited edition expression called Macanudo Inspirado Tercio Aged, to be released next month. Tercio aging envelopes the cigarโs Dominican Piloto Cubano leaves in handmade bales made of royal palm bark that age the tobacco for six months. A QR code will appear on the cigar bands and the box and links to a video that details the tercio-aging process.
The four-country blend is wrapped in a Mexican San Andreas leaf which crowns the Indonesian binder and Colombian and Dominican filler.
The Macanudo Inspirado Tercio Aged comes in a 6 x 54 Toro ($10.49) and a 7 x 49 Churchill ($10.99) and is produced at General Cigar Dominicana in Santiago.
