Red Meat Lover’s Club Featuring Ferio Tego at the Saddle River Inn

Ferio tego

Red Meat Lover’s Club held one of their “meatings” at the historic Saddle River Inn in Bergen County, New Jersey to raise funds for the Human Needs Food Pantry. Saddle River Inn owner and chef Jamie Knott produced some of the Inn’s famous dishes in small bites followed by a family style prime ribeye dinner at each table. VIP tables also received a special serving of Japanese A5 Wagyu. Ferio Tego’s Michael Herklots and Brendon Scott teamed up with Casa de Montecristo to provide cigars for the evening while Buffalo Trace poured top shelf bourbon all night, including an after-dinner pour of Pappy Van Winkle 10 Year. The club’s “Secretary of Steak,” Evan Darnell, emceed the festivities but handed over the live auction duties to Herklots, a veteran cigar industry auctioneer. It was a memorable evening of steak, bourbon, and smokes for a great cause.
